Did you know that there is only 19 days left in the school year?? We will count down the days by posting a staff spotlight every weekday; today is School Psych, Tera Krantz!
Check out this week's activities!
Fourth grade traveled to Greenbush yesterday. Here's what Mrs. King said about the trip, "Our 4th graders spent the day at Greenbush. The morning was spent learning about the structure and function of plants. Then in the afternoon, we learned about the structure and function of animals by dissecting frogs. Feelings were mixed about that opportunity, but everyone did a great job, and we learned so much. Thank you, Greenbush and Ms. Lisa!"
Due to new rules and regulations, Marmaton Valley Schools will be changing enrollment procedures. Enrollment for ALL CURRENT students will now take place during the month of May instead of August. The location for enrollment will be on the stage of the old gym. You may park in the east parking lot and enter the building through the east door of the school.
Enrollment dates and times are as follows:
Monday, May 6 & Tuesday, May 7th-- 9:00am-6:00pm
Make-Up Day: Wednesday, May 8th--8:00am-12:00pm (in the appropriate school office)
Please note that the time for fall school pictures has not yet been determined.
Head Coach Max Mickunas held a meeting today for those that are wanting to play football next year. He's excited to work with the group but even more excited to announce next year's schedule!
Although we're in the middle of spring sports, we can't thank Coach Hannah Endicott for her leadership in the fall and those sports she's coached in the past!
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Boys for placing first as a team at Northeast tonight! Also congrats to Emma Louk, Clara Ferguson, Daniel Allee, and Lane Lord for placing first in some of their events!
Great job once again to the baseball team for sweeping St Paul tonight!
Here are the results from the Gene Farrow Meet that HS Track participated in on Tuesday. Congratulations to Janae Granere for placing first in the long jump and breaking not only her personal record but the school's record that was previously held by Bailey Griffith. Granere's jump was 17'8.5" and Griffith's was 17'4.5". Granere also currently holds the triple jump record with 37'5.5".
We also apologize for not posting the full results. Unfortunately some of the competitor's measurements and times were not kept if not in finals.
