FORENSICS WINS LEAGUE TITLE
The Marmaton Valley Forensics Team placed first at the Three Rivers League forensics tournament Saturday, Feb. 20, at Chetopa. The MV team accumulated 214 points, followed by Uniontown with 150 points, and Oswego with 100 points. Nineteen of the team’s 21 entries qualified for the final round. ERICSON AND HOUK SIGN WITH FSCC FOOTBALL PROGRAM
Ethan Ericson and Skler Houk signed national letters of intent to play football for the Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds. Skyler Houk received all league honors his junior and senior years at defensive end and receiver, Ethan received all league honors his junior year.
